Aloha!  안녕하세요" (annyeonghaseyo!)

Aloha! I’m Kim—a Korean-American artist, mom, and proud vet wife.

When I’m not wrangling my little crew, managing my “Frat House,” or soaking up time with loved ones, you’ll find me lost in the beauty of the ocean. Growing up in Rhode Island and later planting Navy retirement roots in Hawaii, the sea has always been my sanctuary. Before motherhood, I spent my days diving along Hawaiian shorelines and teaching Graphic Design at Kailua High School. From 2013-2020, I brought creativity to others through Mai Tais & Monet, hosting paint parties both in-person and online.

Now that my boys are older, I’m diving back into my own art—canvas, digital, watercolor, mixed media, and even a children’s picture book in the works! My hope is that my art sparks joy, connection, and a little bit of that ocean magic.
