About Kim

Aloha!  안녕하세요" (annyeonghaseyo!)
I'm Kim, a Korean-American artist, mom, and vet wife. When I'm not paddle boarding or hanging out with my Beaches (that's what I call my loved ones), I'm immersed in the beauty of the ocean and its incredible creatures. Growing up in Rhode Island and having Navy retirement roots in Hawaii, I've always felt connected to the sea. Before becoming a mom, I used to dive along the Hawaiian shorelines and teach Graphic Design at Kailua High School. I’ve had so much fun being partners with Mai Tais & Monet instructing fun paint parties from 2013-2020 (even online parties!) This helped me get my feet wet to express my own art  

Art has always been my passion, and now that my kids are a bit older, I've finally found the time to focus on my own creations. From canvas to digital art, watercolor to mixed media, and even a children's picture book, I've been keeping busy. I hope my work brings you joy and an appreciation for my art.
